The 9/11 memorial can provide future generations the opportunity to learn about the events in the day, and to visit the survivor cedar and memorial exhibition. The names of who lost their lives are inscribed within the memorial, and all are strategically placed. The ” new world ” Trade Center can be a celebration of recovery, it’s an indication that the people of America never have been broken, but importantly it’s constructed with the memories of those lost in your mind.

My mind keeps drifting to the events of 10 in years past. On 9/10/01, we had no idea that which was to come in just a few hours; that the world as we know it could be literally turned upside straight down. Those structures, they were abdominal muscles epitome of substance. We were looking at built to be sound and were here to remain. We were shook to your foundations when they came down to theirs.

Those were some of the thoughts on my mind when i opened the paper and read about the Gaden Jangtse Buddhist monks who are visiting from Tibet to make a sand mandala at that Pacific Asia Museum with Pasadena. For five days they will take vibrant grains with sand and form these into an intricate image just to sweep it away.

Is a superb such purposeful impermanence is usually alien. Of course we all assume that change is inevitable which nothing stays the same. But that doesn’t means that deep down we don’t try to hold on to what we cherish.

What would motivate people to create something so beautiful with the intention of destroying the idea? I felt compelled to learn more about this tradition; when i did so, I found that the uncomfortable thoughts and feelings I was having about 9/11 began to settle some.

Primary, the sand is earth to fine particles and then it is dyed into majestic colors. These dark red, saffron, and lapis grains will then be delicately pushed into place which includes a long probe into their grand design. This ancient art is unique to the Tibetan Buddhist monks who believe it will serve being a map for transforming the normal human mind into a great enlightened mind.

The techniques which were passed down for centuries are with a profoundly mindful devotion. Crouched in the emerging sand design, the monks tediously together with patiently create the sacred patterns of the mandala. This video in the monks creating their timeless sand mandalashows them intently at your workplace. People that witness this say they feel a sense associated with peace and happiness.

For the reason that monks create the sand mandala they also chant Buddhist prayers and perform ceremonies to obtain world peace and compassion. The redesign of a simple rectangular box that your dog engineered and pioneered changed the international movement with goods and accelerated the development of consumerism along with the growth of a middle class in countries world wide.

Keith Tantlinger died recently at age 92. Mr. Tantlinger was an industrial engineer and Inventor and was working in the shipping industry inside early 1950’s. He was frustrated along with the bottlenecks that were a constant at west coast delivering terminals. international business
